The disaster struck on August 26 in the Rasuwa and Dhading areas , with floodwaters and debris surging through the Bhote Koshi-Trishuli river system.   Narayani River Water Level May Rise; DM, SP Inspect Shivpur and Other Vulnerable Villages TOK News Network | Kushinagar Kushinagar: The Kushinagar district administration has stepped up preparedness following reports of a possible rise in the water level of the Narayani River after heavy rainfall in Nepal's Rasuwa district and information about a glacier-related lake outburst. DM and SP kushinagar District Magistrate Mahendra Singh Tanwar and the Superintendent of Police, along with senior administrative and police officials, conducted an on-ground inspection of Shivpur and other vulnerable villages located across the Narayani River to assess the preparedness for a possible increase in the river's water level.
