According to the information available, several students participating in the procession developed health-related complaints and were taken to hospital for medical treatment. The district administration and health department were alerted following the incident and arrangements were made for the treatment and monitoring of the affected students. The response was carried out under the direction of Deoria District Magistrate Madhusudan Hulgi, with the Chief Development Officer and health department officials and staff deployed to oversee the situation.
