Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana: Interviews for Beneficiary Selection From August 19 in Maharajganj

Maharajganj: Interviews for the selection of beneficiaries under the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana for the financial year 2026-27 will be held from August 19 in Maharajganj, officials said on Thursday.


The interviews are being conducted on the basis of online applications received for the scheme's 10-day training programme.

Deputy Commissioner of Industries Neeraj Kumar Singh said interviews for candidates under the tailor trade will be conducted alphabetically. Candidates whose names begin with A to J will appear on August 19, K to N on August 20, P to R on August 21, and S to Z on August 22.

Candidates under the halwai (confectioner) trade will be interviewed on August 24, while those applying for the carpenter trade will appear on August 25.

Interviews for candidates in the barber, blacksmith, potter, mason and washerman trades will be conducted on August 27 and 29. Candidates from other trades who could not appear on their scheduled dates will be given an opportunity on August 31.

All interviews will begin at 11 am at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Industries, District Industries Promotion and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Maharajganj.

Applicants have been asked to appear on their respective dates with their original documents, including caste certificate, Aadhaar card, bank passbook and educational qualification certificates, along with other required documents.

Officials have urged applicants to carefully follow the interview schedule and carry all necessary original certificates for verification.
